Map My Tracks is a global fitness network used by people around the world to track their outdoor activities and its newest app (there are already two others) is aimed at making the everyday task of walking fun to measure.
Step Counter & Calorie Tracker takes advantage of the motion coprocessor available in some of the newest iPhones to passively measure your steps throughout the day. Once installed it simply works in the background with no battery drain and provides users with a wealth of information about their step count for today, this week, month, year and all time. It integrates with Apple's Health app which means users can use compatible wearables in conjunction with the app.
Counting up the numbers is one thing but to make things a little more interesting users can also choose an interactive avatar to represent their mood for that day. Casual, street or formal attire don the avatar to match the user's preference.
The app is available to download from the App Store and is available in eleven languages including English, Française, 日本, Português, Deutsch, Italiano, Nederlandse, Español, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese.
